The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has extended the

* Flood Warning for... Northeastern Defiance County in northwestern Ohio... Henry County in northwestern Ohio... Southeastern Williams County in northwestern Ohio...

* Until 1245 AM EDT.

* At 929 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest thunderstorms beginning to exit the warning area. Doppler radar estimates that anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of rain fell across the warning area since late Sunday afternoon, with the greatest totals across the east central portions of Henry County. Additional rainfall amounts should total less than one quarter of any inch through 1100 PM EDT before the rain ends, but runoff from the heavy rainfall earlier this evening will likely continue to result in some flooding into the early portions of the overnight hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Napoleon, Bryan, Stryker, Liberty Center, Mcclure, Pulaski, Texas, Ney, Malinta, Florida, Evansport, Jewell, Grelton, Ridgeville Corners, Gerald, Colton, Okolona and Elery.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

* At 8 PM Sunday the stage was 6.0 feet and steady.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river will remain at 6.0 feet through this week.

* At 6.0 feet...Water approaches some houses around Skinner Lake, especially along State Road 8. &&

Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood waters.
