* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Thursday evening and crest near 17.1 feet around 2 AM Friday June 21 and fall below flood stage around 4 AM Friday June 21.

* At 17.0 feet...Agricultural flooding occurs along the river in northern...central and eastern Adams County. &&

* Portions of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, including the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN, and Wayne. In Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH, and Warren.

* Until 8 PM EDT this evening

* Additional scattered storm development is expected again today, with total additional rainfall up to 1.5 inches possible. However, high rainfall rates of around an inch per hour may lead to quick flooding and/or flash flooding issues.

* With very wet soil conditions across much of the region, any heavy rain will quickly convert to runoff, either aggravating ongoing flooding or helping to re-initiate high water issues. Many low lying areas will be quick to flood should heavy rain occur.

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas, and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.

* At 11 AM Thursday the stage was 11.6 feet and rising.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 13.2 feet around 8 AM Saturday June 22 and fall below flood stage around 8 PM Monday June 24.

* At 14.0 feet...Secondary roads are blocked. Roads near the east side of Geneva begin to flood. Some evacuations may be required and property needs to be transferred to higher ground. &&

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON... The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of northwest Ohio, including the following areas, Allen OH, Defiance, Fulton OH, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, and Van Wert.

* Until 5 PM EDT this afternoon

* Heavy rainfall remains possible through this afternoon. Saturated ground from recent rainfall coupled with torrential rain that falls from slow moving showers and thunderstorms could quickly runoff and create flooding.

* Rapid rises of streams, creeks and rivers are possible given saturated soils. Roads in poor drainage areas may become impassable with water flowing across them.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

* Flood Warning for... Shelby County in west central Ohio... Logan County in west central Ohio... Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Southeastern Hardin County in west central Ohio... Northern Union County in central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...

* Until 145 PM EDT Friday.

* At 152 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported that several roadways remained closed due to high water. Additional rainfall in thunderstorms is expected later today. Runoff from any storms that occur may worsen any ongoing flooding or create new flooding concerns.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, Celina, Wapakoneta, St. Marys, Coldwater, Fort Shawnee, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Richwood, Newport, Cridersville, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Fort Recovery, Russells Point, De Graff and Botkins.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
