Fort Wayne Police responded to the shooting at a home at 2100 Carterton Dr. at 5:54 p.m.

Troopers say several of the children in the passenger van, ranging from 6 months old to 15 years old, were trapped inside and had to be rescued. 

Fort Wayne police say they responded to a home on the 2300 block of S. Hanna St. at 4:35 p.m. after a caller told dispatchers "someone was shot in the yard." 

Officers say they found a female victim in the garage with an arrow wound to her lower back. 

Officers responded to the 500 block of Charlotte Avenue at 11:47 p.m. and found a man lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Deputies say they initially went to a home on the 4600 block of Maple Terrace Parkway at 3:08 p.m. to serve a man an outstanding warrant.

Authorities say the 74-year-old man died Thursday after crashing a moped on Tuesday.
