FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Former Whitko and Saint Francis standout Tanner Gaff will sign with the Minnesota Twins, sources tell FOX 55 Sports Director Justin Prince.
Gaff last pitched for Saint Francis in 2021, going 8-2 with a 4.15 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 92.1 innings over 14 games.
Gaff led the Cougars in ERA, wins, innings pitched and strikeouts, helping USF to a 34-22 record.
He will be the first-ever Cougar to sign a professional contract, and his deal is expected to be completed this week.
