High School Softball: Leo & Heritage meet for sectional (22) championship

Leo and Heritage earned a trip to the sectional (22) title game after winning their semifinal matches on Wednesday.

ANGOLA, Ind. (WFFT) -- Leo and Heritage earned a trip to the sectional (22) title game after winning their semifinal matches on Wednesday.

The Leo Lions -- last year's 3A regional champs -- came back and earned an 8-2 win over Woodlan.

The Heritage Patriots beat down the Concordia Cadets 13-3.

Leo and Heritage will face off in the sectional (22) championship game on Thursday at 6 p.m.

  • Hamilton 0, Fremont 16 (1A sectional 51 semifinals)
  • Fairfield 9, Lakeland 0 (3A sectional 21 semifinals)
  • East Noble 13, NorthWood 2 (3A sectional 21 semifinals)
