LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WFFT) -- The Wayne Generals secured its second regional title after taking down the Noblesville Millers 62-60 in the 4A regional three title game.
"I still can't believe we won a regional. It's a testament to our boys and their work ethic, and their resilience... they just want to be winners. When you work hard, sometimes the universe gives those things to you," said Head Coach Byron Pickens.
Despite trailing 14-13 after the first quarter, the Generals came back and outscored the Millers 20-13 in the second quarter.
Jevon Lewis Jr. cashed in five clutch free throws in the fourth quarter to cap his 18-point game.

"Moments like this, IÂ just hear my thoughts... hear myself... I zone out everything, and I hit tough shots, late shots, and clutch shots for my team," said Lewis.
6'5 sophomore forward Preston Comer also finished the night with 18 points.
The Generals are 21-4 on the season, and will compete in the semi-state semifinals next weekend.
The North Side Legends finished the year 16-10 after falling to the Kokomo Wildkats 68-55 in the 4A regional four title game.
