FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) --Â South Side's Diamond Flakes and O'Marion Washington signed their letter of intent on Wednesday.
Flakes is staying in town to continue her academic and cheerleading career at the University of Saint Francis. She plans to get her degree in nursing.

O'Marion Washington is headed all the way to the west coast to play ball at Merritt College in California. This past season Washington led his team in scoring and rebounds, averaging just over 16 points and five boards a game.
