FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - The Northeast Indiana Building Trades will host an Apprenticeship Fair at the Allen County Public Library (ACPL) Friday.
The event will take place at the library Plaza, 900 Library Plaza, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Anyone 18 and older with a valid driver's license and high school diploma/equivalency are invited.
The event will connect local trade unions and contractors with prospective apprentices.
Contractors and local trade union representatives will be on-site to tell participants about building futures with livable wages, free training including college degrees, and employment benefits like health insurance and retirement plans.
Hands-on demonstrations will be available, as well as application opportunities.
This event is free and open to the public.
