one p-m there's an easter egg hunt that didn't care that it was rainy, and the people that were there didn't seem to mind either.as long as their kids got to meet the easter bunny, get some treats, and have a good time. it's a day well spent.fox 55's jentill neal was there for byron health center's fifth community eggstravaganza. she has more on how they're making the day memorable for local families. it's an eggstrvaganza and danette johnson and her children came ready. this isn't their first go round at byron health hit time: 07-13>"it's great it's really big. i go to their trunk every year, egg hunt, all their activities."she and many other families kids can get as many eggs as their little hearts desire.byron health's staff and volunteers worked for a few weeks to put this all together, but what johnson loves most is how inclusive it is for the whole community."they did a good job of getting the residents involved in this . they are the ones who stuffed the eggs. they have the door prizes most of them have made, and that's the good thing. the residents are involved."byron health center provides care to adults with complex needs such as physical, mental, emotional and neurological conditions. and events like these give residents the opportunity to feel included.hit time: 47-54> 19:37:44:25-"the community gives so much to byron health and this is our one chance a year to give back to the community and that's a big part of what we're doing today."in the family room kids are met with some of their favorite characters, face painting, and snacks to prepare them for the hunt. kids ranging in ages from zero to five filled the hallways as they were filling their baskets, and another thing that excites everyone.... everything is free. johnson says she'll definitely be attending next year.in fort wayne, jentill neal fox 55 news. -
