Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - The Saint Francis Volleyball team advanced to the Crossroads League Championship for the second straight year with a five set victory over Indiana Wesleyan at the Hutzell Center Wednesday night.
Anne Clark tallied a team-high 14 kills, Kendra Siefring added 13, and Ava Kunkler and Cassidy Rammel each totaled 12 kills to help in the effort. Sophomore setter Maria Pelak also added a match high 57 assists.
The win pushed the Cougars to the 30 win plateau for the first time in program history, and qualified the team for a berth in the NAIA Championships.
Saint Francis will face Marian on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in Indianapolis for the Crossroads League postseason title.
