Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - The Saint Francis football team opened spring practices Friday afternoon at Bishop D'Arcy Stadium.
The Cougs are coming off a 10-3 season, where the team appeared in their fourth straight NAIA semifinal game. Saint Francis fell short of a third straight title game berth, falling to eventual champion Morningside 34-28 in overtime.
There are plenty of questions the Cougars must answer this season, including positional needs at running back, cornerback, and linebacker, after graduating all-time rusher Justin Green, First Team All-American Wilmer Cole, as well as Eric Dunten and Piercen Harnish.
