Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - Central Noble and Northfield are the last remaining girls basketball teams from Northeast Indiana set to play in semi-state this weekend.
The Cougars will be making their third straight trip to this stage as they look to defend their state title from a season ago. Central Noble will face Oak Hill in the Logansport semi-state at 4 p.m.
Northfield is making their first trip to semi-state since 1978, and will look to advance to the state title game for the first time in school history. The Norse will face defending 1A state champion Marquette Catholic in the LaPorte semi-state at 1 p.m. ET time Saturday.
