Nine Athletes Sign at Bishop Dwenger Tuesday

Nine Bishop Dwenger student athletes signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers Tuesday at the school.

Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - Nine Bishop Dwenger student athletes signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers Tuesday at the school.

Anna Burkhardt will head to Old Dominion to continue her volleyball career at the Division One level.

Hayden Smithey and Bridgette Black will stay in town to continue their basketball careers at Saint Francis. 

A trio of runners will continue their careers collegiately. Alex Trahin signed with Evansville, Ben Miles with Manchester, and Alex Ebertino with Saint Francis. All three will run track and cross country.

Val Palermo will play Lacrosse at Trine University, and Nick Hosier and Jared Monnier will play rugby at Penn State and Kentucky, respectively.
