Munson, Shaw Provide Needed Punch for Komets

The Komets have found some new life in the new year, and Patrick Munson and Brady Shaw are a big reason why.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - The Komets have found some new life in the new year, and Patrick Munson and Brady Shaw are a big reason why.

Munson has backstopped the Komets to two wins to start the new year, turning away 61 of 66 shots in the two victories. Shaw has scored three goals in two games since his return from a PTO with the AHL's Cleveland Monsters.

The Komets will skate in three games this weekend, hosting Idaho on Friday and Sunday, and travelling to Wheeling on Saturday.
