INDIANAPOLIS (WFFT) - The NFL Combine kicked off on Monday in Indianapolis, and former Bishop Luers standout Austin Mack is looking to impress.
Mack spent the past four seasons at Ohio State, where he did miss some significant time due to injuries, but he did record 76 receptions for 1,050 yards and six touchdowns, including 27 receptions for 361 yards and three scores as a senior.

Anthony Spencer & @thejaylonsmith paved the way. Now @Austin__Mack11 is trying to follow in their footsteps. We caught up with the former @BishopLuersFB star at the @NFL combine today. You’ll hear from him throughout the week on @FOX55FortWayne! pic.twitter.com/jZgHWaUxUu
He says this is the biggest job interview of his life, and when he tests on Thursday, he hopes to prove he's very fast.
Despite the pressure, Mack says he's excited to take part in this journey, and hopefully follow in the footsteps of his mentor, and fellow Luers grad, Jaylon Smith.
