"Well at least we got a point!"
If you know a diehard Fort Wayne Komets fan, chances are you've heard them say that a time or two over the last month or so. After Sunday's 6-5 loss at the hands of Wheeling, the K's have now dropped 11 of 13, with seven of those setbacks coming in either overtime or a shootout. Sunday's loss was particularly brutal, as the Komets outshot the Nailers 47-21. Fort Wayne fought back from a three-goal deficit in the third period before ultimately coming up short in the shootout.
The boys in black and oragne are back at home on Wednesday to host the Wichita Thunder.
