KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WFFT) - It's only the first of December, but "First Place Fort Wayne Komets" still has a pretty nice ring to it.
The K's moved into a tie with Cincinnati atop the ECHL's Central Division standings after Sunday's 5-2 win over the Kalamazoo Wings. Fort Wayne is now 13-6-2 on the season after reeling off five consecutive wins. They'll try to continue that winning streak in Tulsa against the Oilers on Friday.
