It was better than Saturday's game, but it still wasn't the result the Komets were looking for on Sunday.

The K's followed up thier 11-0 loss to Toledo with a 3-2 setback against the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday. Oskari Halme scored his first goal as a Komet in the loss. The K's and Nailers are now tied for the fourth and final playoff spot in the central division. They will meet again at the Coliseum on Wednesday.
