The Fort Wayne Komets are confident healthier times are coming after playing this past weekend shorthanded with players sick and/or injured.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - The Fort Wayne Komets are confident healthier times are coming after playing this past weekend shorthanded with players sick and/or injured.

Fort Wayne expects reinforcements for the upcoming weekend and will be eyeing a second-half run to make it into the playoffs.

The K's dropped two of three over the weekend, losing Friday and Sunday to the Steelheads, while beating Wheeling on the road on Saturday.
