K'Wings use strong start to pull closer to Komets in division standings

The Kalamazoo Wings pulled within a point of the Fort Wayne Komets in the Central Division standings on Wednesday night.

The Kalamazoo Wings pulled within a point of the Fort Wayne Komets in the Central Division standings on Wednesday night.

The Wings raced out to a 4-1 lead before holding on to win, 4-3. Kyle Hope, Brady Shaw and Mason Baptista all scored goals in a losing effort for the Komets. The K's are back at home against Cincinnati on Friday night for an 8 p.m. puck drop.
