Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - Homestead soccer standout Amelia White announced Tuesday that she committed to Penn State to continue her soccer career.
As a freshman, White played in 14 games for the Spartans, scoring 16 goals and adding nine assists for a total of 41 points. Five of her 16 goals came in the regional semifinals against Carroll to help the Spartans advance to the regional final.

White helped Homestead to a 3A state runner-up finish in 2018. She joined the Spartans late, making her first appearance against Concordia Lutheran after leading the U.S. U-15 girls team to a gold medal in the CFA International Women's Youth Football Tournament in Weifing, China.
She had scholarship offers from numerous Division 1 programs including Stanford, UCLA and USC, among others.
