EVANSTON, Ill. (WFFT) -- Former Locker Room standout and Homestead graduate Bennett Skowronek may be leaving Northwestern to continue his football career.
So we have an update ...
*Ben met with Fitz last week, went well
*Feedback from NFL is that Ben needs more tape, league uncertain if he's a WR or a hybrid WR/TE
*source: 50-50 he returns to NU vs. transferring https://t.co/WFXhd1dNEI

Skowronek was a captain this past season for the Wildcats, but only played in three games before undergoing season-ending surgery on a lower leg injury.
He will have one full season of eligibility left as a graduate student, regardless, if he chooses to transfer.
In four seasons with Northwestern, Skowronek has hauled in 110 passes for 1,417 yards and eight touchdowns in 43 career games.
