CARMEL, Ind. (WFFT) - A second round push helped Homestead finish as state runner-ups at the 2020 IHSAA Girls Golf State Tournament.
The Spartans trailed by 10 strokes to Evansville North following the first round of play, but cut the lead down to one after nine holes on Saturday.

Evansville North never let the Spartans any closer than that, though, as they held on for a three stroke victory.
Homestead has now finished in the top two in the last two girls golf state tournaments.
