FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - An early goal from Michael Frank helped propel 3A's second ranked Carroll to a 3-0 win over 2A's third ranked Concordia Lutheran at Kreager Park Thursday night.
Carroll got the scoring started in the fourth minute of the game on Frank's goal. Chase Hartzog and Nick Harding added goals in the 55th minute and 63rd minute in the victory.
Logan Gonzalez only had to make two stops on the night, as his team allowed just seven shots all night. The Chargers were able to get off 18 shots, including nine on net. Concordia keeper Mike Gill made six saves on the nine shots on goal.
The victory was Carroll's 14th of the season, which sets a new school record.
