FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Allen County's largest school district will no longer allow fans at sporting events after the state has seen a constant increase in coronavirus cases.
Fort Wayne Community Schools said in a tweet Thursday that "[b]ecause of increased spread of COVID-19 in the community, spectators will not be allowed at FWCS events (athletic and non-athletic)

Because of increased spread of COVID-19 in the community, spectators will not be allowed at FWCS events (athletic and non-athletic) beginning tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 30.

The ban also includes spectators at non-athletic events and begins on Friday, the school district said. It is unclear how long it will last or if other county school districts will enact a similar policy.
