WOODBURN, Ind. (WFFT) - The Woodlan Warriors are trying to get back to winning ways after their first losing season in five years in 2018.

A year removed from a state runner-up finish, Woodlan finished their season 4-6, including a first round exit from sectionals with a loss to Bremen.

It was Woodlan's first losing season since 2013, and only the third since Sherwood Haydock took over the program.

Now, with plenty of talent returning to the gridiron for 2019, including Ben Reidy at quarterback, the Warriors are ready to get back to winning ways.

Woodlan will open their season at home against Leo on August 23.
