Now it's official: Keion Brooks Jr. is leaving Fort Wayne for his final season of high school basketball.
Rumors began swirling last weekend that the five-star recruit was headed to a prep school for his senior year. Brooks confirmed the move on Twitter on Friday. He will suit up for La Lumiere, one of the top prep basketball schools in the country, next season. Jaren Jackson Jr., a top-five 2018 NBA draft pick, is a recent graduate.
Brooks leaves North Side as one of the school's all-time leading scorers. He led the Legends to a state championship appearance and a sectional title in his three years at North Side.
