Fort Wayne has churned out its fair share of five-star basketball recruits in recent memory.
In 2015, it was Caleb Swanigan. In 2017, Malik Williams. Keion Brooks Jr. grauduated this year. And now, it's Caleb Furst's turn to step into the spotlight.
The Blackhawk Christian junior-to-be picked up his first scholarship offer during his freshman year of high school, and they've been rolling in ever since. Purdue, Indiana, Butler, Ohio State, Iowa and Northwestern all offered before his sophomore season began. Michigan State, Maryland, Marquette, California, Stanford and Louisville have all joined the race for Furst this summer.
Furst says right now he is enjoying the process, and there is currently no timetable for a decision to be made.
