FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Bishop Dwenger standout wide receiver Griffin Eifert has accepted a preferred walk-on opportunity with Notre Dame to continue his football career.
Eifert made 30 receptions for 478 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior.

For his career, he has 63 catches for 1,127 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Eifert helped the Saints to an SAC crown, three straight sectional and regional titles and a Class 4A state title in 2018.
Eifert's brother, Tyler, played for the Fighting Irish from 2009-12, playing in 37 games, recording 140 catches for 1,840 yards and 11 touchdowns before being drafted in the first round, 21st overall, of the 2013 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
