Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) - The Bishop Dwenger golf team is headed to the state championships for the eighth straight season.

Jonny Filler earned medalist honors in sectionals and regionals and is looking to do the same at state. If he can, he'll follow in the footsteps of Logan Ryan, who won the individual state title last season as a senior.

Ryan was the first golfer from the city of Fort Wayne to win the title since Fred Link in 1941.
