LIGONIER, Ind. (WFFT) - 2019 was a special year for the West Noble football team, and it's one that won't be forgotten any time soon.
The Chargers ran the table in the regular season on their way to a 10-1 overall record, and their first conference crown since 2014.

That team was anchored by a strong senior class, led by the likes of Brandon Pruitt and Josh Gross.
With those guys gone, head coach Monte Mawhorter will have his work cut out for him, but he says he does not expect this year's squad to take a step back.
West Noble will open the season against county rival Central Noble on Aug. 21.
