FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- What a bounce-back season it was for the Carroll Chargers in 2019.
After a 3-7 campaign in 2018, Doug Dinan's crew posted a 7-4 record last season.
A big reason why was the emergence of quarterback Jeff Becker.
Becker threw for over 2,000 yards and 20 scores while adding over 500 yards and six touchdowns on the ground last season as a sophomore.
Now with a year of experience under his belt and a large group of upperclassmen, the Chargers are hoping 2020 can be a special season.
Carroll will open with a trip to Bishop Luers on Aug. 21.
