Woman stabbed to death, left on Fort Wayne street

The woman was found on Roosevelt Drive at 10:39 p.m.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Fort Wayne police say a woman died Saturday night after she was stabbed during a fight. 

Officers responded to a battery in progress at the the 1600 block of Roosevelt Drive at 10:39 p.m.

They found an adult woman lying in the middle of the street.

VICTIM: ROOSEVELT DRIVE STABBING VICTIM IDENTIFIED BY CORONER

She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as 21-year-old Kennedy Janae Laramore of Fort Wayne.

Police say it appears there was a fight between several people before the stabbing.

55-year-old Robert Littlejohn was charged with murder in connection to the stabbing.

SUSPECT: ROOSEVELT DRIVE STABBING SUSPECT ARRESTED

Investigators are talking to multiple witnesses.
