FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Police say they found a woman dead inside a car parked in the Southeast side of the city Friday night.
Fort Wayne police say they responded to 5800 Turtle Creek Drive about 10:35 p.m. after receiving a call that an unresponsive person was inside a car.

Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Police say she may have died from a gunshot wound.
Investigators say neighbors reported hearing gunshots shortly before officers arrived at the scene.
They're on the scene collecting evidence and canvassing the area.
Police say they don't have any information about possible suspects at this time.

The victim's identity will be released by the Allen County Coroner's Office after her family is notified.
