Mercer county's advisory will last until 6 p.m.
Sustained southwest winds will range from 20 to 30 mph with gusts reaching up to 50 mph.
Winds are not going to be as strong as last weekend's winds.
When you factor the winds in with the low relative humidity across the area Thursday, it does create an elevated fire risk.
That means outdoor burning is not recommended because any fire could quickly spread.
The southwest winds are going to draw warmer air into the area.
High temperatures on Thursday will be in the low 60s.
That's well above average for this time of year.
Our average high temperature in Fort Wayne for Thursday is 48 degrees.
