FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The sun made an appearance Tuesday afternoon for many areas and sadly that will not be the case for Wednesday.
It’ll be a cold start to the day with temperatures kicking off in the upper 20s under a mostly cloudy sky.

The clouds will linger across the region throughout the day but a few hints of sunshine will be possible from time to time.
A gusty southwest wind will help to push high temperatures into the lower 40s for areas along and south of U.S. 30.
The upper 30s can be expected north of US 30, which is still above average for this time of the year.
Thursday could bring us another day in the upper 30s and lower 40s before more seasonable air returns for the weekend.
The colder air will rush in behind a system that is expected to bring light rain and snow to the area late Thursday and Friday.
