FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — We're more than halfway through December and we're going to take a look back at our high temperatures.
So far, we've seen nine days with highs below average, two days with highs near average, and eight days with highs above average.
At the beginning of December, average high temperatures started in the low 40s before falling into the mid 30s by the middle of the month.
I think we're going to wrap up the month with a long stretch of high temperatures above average.
According to NOAA's Climate Prediction Center, northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio has at least a 50 percent chance of seeing above average highs to wrap up the year.
