The warm front should be in Michigan by Thursday afternoon.
Temperatures will manage to climb into the 70s under a mostly cloudy sky.
Despite the cloud cover, we could tap into enough instability to get a few stronger thunderstorms going Thursday afternoon.
An isolated severe storm containing damaging wind gusts and hail cannot be ruled out Thursday afternoon and evening.
The timeframe to also watch is Thursday night into Friday morning when a strong cold front pushes through the area.
This will bring another chance of strong to severe thunderstorms.
The main concern is damaging winds, hail and heavy downpours with these storms.
Localized flooding will be possible.
Rainfall totals will be between one and two inches with isolated higher amounts possible by Friday morning.
