The Storm Prediction Center has the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather, or a level 2 of 5.
Our main threats will be damaging winds over 58 mph and quarter-sized hail or larger.
Heavy rain is possible with some of the stronger storms.
Since the main threat of storms will mainly be around sunset and later, storms are likely going to be weakening as they move into the area.
That's due to the loss of daytime heat.
