FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Severe storms are rumbling through northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio Friday.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued for our communities along and east of Interstate 69 until 9 p.m.

Allen, Adams, Wells, Huntington, Jay, Blackford and Grant counties in Indiana and Williams, Defiance, Paulding, Van Wert and Mercer counties in Ohio are all included in the watch.
Our main threats are strong, damaging winds, quarter-sized hail, and lots of lightning.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

The storms are associated with a strong cold front that's going to drop the temperatures drastically.
High temperatures happened in the low to mid 70s across much of the area.
Behind the front, temperatures will fall into the upper 30s by Saturday morning.
