FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Another day, another round of snow.
Our next system will spread into northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio early Thursday morning.
Light snow will move into our southern counties such as Jay, Blackford, Grant and Mercer by 3 a.m.
The snow will continue to spread to the north through the morning hours.
It should reach Fort Wayne just in time for the morning commute.
With that being said, allow extra time for the drive in to work because some roadways could become snow covered and slick.
Everyone across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio should be seeing snowflakes flying around by the middle of the morning.
Snow will continue through lunchtime and taper off from the northwest to the southeast late in the afternoon.
The system should be east of the area by the early evening hours.
Luckily this will be a light snow with 1 to 2 inches possible across most of the area with isolated higher amounts south of Fort Wayne.
Locations closer to Michigan could pick up to an inch.
Highs for Thursday will top out in the middle 20s.
