A quick disturbance will bring a burst of light snow/patchy freezing drizzle to parts of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio early Tuesday morning.
The northwestern counties (Elkhart, Lagrange, Kosciusko counties) will see the light snow begin between 5-6 a.m. Tuesday.
The system will quickly move into Fort Wayne near 7 a.m. and as the system rushes eastward, it will lose its punch.
It looks like it will fizzle out shortly after sunrise Tuesday.
Snowfall accumulations will be minor but due to the timing of this event and the freezing drizzle potential, watch out for slick spots on the roadways and allow extra time for the morning commute.
Temperatures will rise into the middle 30s Tuesday afternoon under a cloudy sky.
