FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The wind will pick up Wednesday night and it will remain strong and gusty throughout the day on Thursday.
Wind gusts of up to 35 mph will be possible from time to time and the wind will be the strongest in the afternoon.
The wind will actually help to usher in some warmer air.
Thursday afternoon highs are expected to top out in the upper 30s and lower 40s under a mostly sunny sky.
The warmth will only be temporary and it’ll be back to reality to round out the work week.
Colder air will push into the region late Thursday and light lake effect snow will be possible Thursday night into early Friday morning.
Little to no accumulation is expected.
Highs will be near 30 degrees Friday afternoon.
