FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The cold blast of Arctic air begins Friday.
Temperatures will start off in the mid teens.
Once you factor in the wind, it will feel like it is just below zero at the bus stop Friday morning.
Watch out for slippery roads, due to slushy spots freezing overnight.
Clouds will slowly decrease during the day.
Strong westerly winds will range from 15 to 25 mph.
Gusts will reach up to 35 mph.
That will keep the wind chill values in the single digits throughout the entire day.
High temperatures will happen close to midnight, in the mid 20s.
During the daytime hours, actual temperatures will struggle to reach the low 20s.
Make sure to keep the extra layers close by during this cold stretch.
