FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Snow returns to the area Wednesday night.
The snow will begin falling just in time for the evening commute, so I don't think travel conditions will be bad then.
Wednesday night is when things will get messy.
It will stay as snow through midnight.
Areas north of U.S. 24 will see mostly snow while areas south of that will see ice.

Areas along and south of U.S. 24 will see snow to start and then it will mix with sleet and freezing rain.
South of U.S. 24, we're going to see less snow, 1 to 3 inches, but ice is going to be a bigger factor.
Ice accumulations along U.S. 24 will be around 0.03 inches, but it will reach up to 0.1 inches the further southeast you go, like in Jay County.
