GARRETT,Ind. (WFFT) — The Auburn Police Department and the U.S. Marshal Task Force arrested a Waterloo man with an outstanding warrant Thursday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m. authorities arrested 30-year-old Jeromy D. Hurd of Waterloo.


Investigators say they were searching for Hurd because he had an active warrant in Michigan for parole violation.
Authorities found Hurd in the 300 block of South Walsh St. in Garrett.
During the investigation officers seized:
- 1 Stolen Handgun
- 1.6 Pounds of Marijuana
- 82 grams of suspected Meth
- 25 Morphine Pills
- 24 Hydrocodone Pills
- Several pieces of paraphernalia.
Police say Hurd was booked into the DeKalb County Jail on the warrant and numerous other charges related to the drugs and firearm are pending.
