Wabash park pavilion to undergo repairs

Wabash city council approved a budget of $50,000 for the project.

WABASH, Ind. (WFFT)- The large pavilion at Wabash Park will undergo some renovations later this year.

Park Superintendent, Adam Hall, told WFFT the Wabash Park Board asked him Wednesday to get quotes from contractors to have the work done.

The city council budgeted $50,000 for the project. Recommended improvements include cleaning and scraping off loose paint and repainting parts of the structure.

Any deteriorated wood on the roof will also be replaced and a new metal roof will be added.
