WABASH, Ind. (WFFT) - Weterans and those in active duty got a chance to take a flight in the sky Saturday in a helicopter, but not just any helicopter.

They flew in two Vietnam-era helicopters, an American Huey 369 and Huey 803 Warrior 11. This is part of the "Honoring Our Heroes" event by Triple L Truck Repair and American Huey 369.

A sponsorship campaign to fund membership flights for veterans and active-duty members is in the works.
