FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- Thousands of people from all over the country are in Fort Wayne this week for the 35th Vera Bradley Outlet Sale.

Some Vera Bradley fans were waiting outside the doors at 2 am Wednesday morning to get their hands on their favorite items during the 5-day sale. There are over 700,000 pieces of Vera Bradley products on display at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

You can purchase tickets for sessions for Thursday and Friday online, but the event is open to the public Saturday and Sunday. There are also many opportunities to get extra discounts.

"The food bank will be out here Saturday and Sunday, so with the non perishable food item or again the $5 monetary donation we're also going to give you a discount at the register. It's a way for us to give back to the community. The sale outside of the sale brings an additional $5 million into the economy," said Vera Bradley Media Manager Holly Wagner.

The event ends at 5 pm Sunday.
