DELPHOS, Ohio (WFFT) -- An early morning shooting in Van Wert County has left one person wounded after several fights broke out at a party, according to authorities.
Van Wert County Sheriff Thomas Riggenbach said his Office received a 911 call shortly after 1 a.m. regarding a person who was shot at a party located at 19470 State Rd. in Washington Township, with "numerous people" present.

Deputies say they were able to interview people and collect evidence of the shooting.
Investigators say there were altercations involving multiple people that led up to the shooting with several shots being fired.
The victim of the shooting was transferred to a hospital by Middle Point EMS, treated and later released.
Riggenbach says this shooting remains under investigation.
